Though you could piece together where it was going. the author did a great job with leading up and dropping hints. It wasn't far fetched. It was tragic. I really felt for Lisa as she struggled to put her life together and end the lies around her. Great read.

A ‘fragile’ wife, a femme fatale, a woman incarcerated in an asylum and some very shady undertakers – it’s all very much like a Victorian melodrama, so it’s a bit of a shock when Bob the Builder crops up….( although he’s a year or so premature, if Wikipedia is to be believed). This is an entertaining story with a few unpredictable twists early on, but ultimately, it doesn’t resolve the biggest mystery of all….what happened to Lisa’s job? It just seemed to disappear!

The premise was very good, but for half of the book I wasn't that much interested in the story.

I read this book because it was free on Kindle Unlimited, i'm glad i didn't waste my money on buying a copy. The story is a bit far fetched.

Well written but the premise for the entire book was annoying.
