Naughty Mabel is a delightfully precocious dog whose stomach ailment causes some visual challenges. She thinks she's seeing monsters when really she just isn't seeing clearly. Great humor and wonderful vocabulary accompany brilliantly drawn illustration. The length of the book is perfect for school aged children and their parents.

These books exude Nathan Lane's over-the-top personality and make the stories a joy to read aloud. My toddlers cannot get enough! Especially my two-year-old. He loves to sit and flip through the illustrations over and over again and always has something new to remark on or point out.

Another really cute story with Mabel. Great for young children who need glasses. I would've loved this!

Pretty funny, but downgraded at least a star for giving her contacts. I was thinking this would be a good book for kids who will be getting glasses, but noooooo, she gets contacts.

While I found this amusing, I highly doubt that the average preschooler would get much of the humor in this one.
