The audiobook adds to the experience of reading this book as Jenny narrates it herself. As someone who also suffers anxiety and depression, and chronic health issues, I found her book very relatable. I laughed till I cried several times

If you’ve ever wondered what a friend or loved one might be experiencing when they go through bouts of depression and/or anxiety, look no further than this book. Lawson describes what it feels like to live with both of these conditions in such a funny and relatable way. The audiobook is perfection.

This "book" is written as a stream-of-consciousness that is meant to be on twitter, not printed on pages. There is no narrative, no lessons, no theme. It's painfully "quirky" and I don't understand where the 5 star reviews are coming from. I was hoping to find comfort and solace from a fellow human who also knows what mental illness is like, but instead I got a headache from Jenny Lawson's writing style (which is best compared to an elementary school girl's diary. Sorry if I insulted any elementary school girls.)
Graphic: Mental illness
Moderate: Addiction, Animal death, Body shaming, Cursing, Medical content, and Alcohol
