A good old fashioned gory, gruesome page-turner! I’d heard of Springheel Jack from students researching monsters but this really brought it to life. I would have enjoyed this much more if not for the bad editing in the kindle version though :( it seemed every time I was really getting sucked into the story another error would pop up to distract me, which spoiled the mood a bit. Otherwise a great read.
