4.6/5 stars based on rating of both books.
I would purchase this set (and pretend the third book doesn’t exist!)
A Good Girls Guide to Murder Review
Quality of writing: 4/5
Pace: 5/5
Plot development: 4/5
Characters: 3/5
Enjoyability: 5/5
Score: 4.2 Stars out of 5
Overview:
The story was very fast paced and I found myself not wanting to put it down as we went down the twists and turns who could be the killer. I am very satisfied with how the story of that was played out and that it wasn’t overly predictable.
I rated the characters as average however though, perhaps because I struggle with a third person narrative after reading so many first person views or simply because we didn’t get down to who they were as people since there were so many of them. I didn’t necessarily feel attached one way or another I just wanted to get to the bottom of the mystery. This however doesn’t take away it still being a great young adult mystery book.
