I received this title as a digital ARC from Edelweiss. This did not effect my review.

Arthur is in NY for the summer with his parents, interning at his mother's law firm. On a coffee run one day, he sees Ben going into the post office with a box. Ben's beautiful, so he follows him. They have a serious meet-cute, but then Ben's gone and Arthur never got his number.

I grinned through reading most of this book. It's SO cute, but not in that super awful, sappy way...in a perfectly wonderful, hopeful, fantastic romantic way. I adore this this book. I've been on an Albertalli kick since Simon (though I haven't gotten to Leah yet!) so when I saw this was available, I snagged it. I'm not sure if I've read any Silvara before, so I'm on that now.

7/1/20 update: this is my first reread and I actually decided to take a star off because I had some issues with how Ben treated Arthur until pretty much the end. I still do love this book though.

Love love love. I would have liked a happier ending but I get the intention and it makes sense for the story.

When I first heard about this book, the idea of a collaboration between Becky Albertalli & Adam Silvera had me extremely excited and hopeful. After reading it, I can say that I was not disappointed, especially for having such high hopes! This book was exactly what I hoped it would be, and more. It doesn't get much better than a summer romance in New York City, with all the Broadway references.
