I have been really liking this series, and I thought this installment was a particularly strong one. Families are so messy, and it's interesting to look at the effect of having the perfect family can have on your social capital.

i thought it was a perfect end to the trilogy. all the story lines get wrapped up, nobody is left hanging, and i can’t imagine a world where anyone is really upset with the ending. i love how karen mcmanus developed these characters. they are all so deep, so loveable, and so completely human. i think she writes characters that are very easy to see yourself or someone you know in. anyway, good end to the trilogy and it was engaging!
