From a fellow South African to all authors and narrators out there: just because our accent sounds Australian, doesn't mean it is. Just because we were a British colony does not mean we have British colloquialisms in our vocabulary, especially if you're Afrikaans. If you're not willing to do the research or practise our accent, then please don't have South African characters in your books. It's insulting.

As for the story, it was okay and definitely not my favourite out of the series. I was really hoping this story would be about Julius as his arc was set up quite nicely in book 5.

so the first book in this series was free on the ibooks store and from it i binge read this entire series in a week!! it is quite ~graphic~ so don't read if you're not really into that, but it delves into bdsm and i like how the relationships are mutually beneficial and there's a lot of respect. there were some instances throughout the whole series where i was like "well this feels a bit unnecessary" but other than that i enjoyed it!!
