Wow.

I almost threw my Kindle across the room at that reveal! Even though I got suspicious towards the end, finding out that
SpoilerMadeline and Sparrow are half siblings
was still insane!

More of the same panic when I realize it’s the end of the book and I have to wait on the next one lol Aleatha is the queen of crazy cliffhangers!! This is edge of your seat suspense!! Highly recommend this series!! Read book 1 first!

I was so ready for this after the ending of book 1, Spark. Now obviously I can’t tell you too much, because I don’t want to give any spoilers. But let me say how good this author is at leaving a trail of bread crumbs through her story to keep you going. There’s just enough that your curiosity is fed, but there’s always that little bit more you need to know, you have to know what happens next and how everyone is connected, and what in the characters’ pasts led them to where they are now and the decisions they’ve made up to this point. If I’d had a whole day to just sit and read, well, I’d have been done with this in less than a day, because I couldn’t put it down! Every bit I was like, okay, just to the end of this chapter, then we’d get there, and there was another one of those tidbits of info that I needed to know more and so I’d tell myself just one more chapter, and so on and so on. As I got closer to the end, I thought I could see what twist the story was taking and where we were going to be left to fight in the third and final book, Ashes, which doesn’t come out till April. But then, even with another little knowledge bomb dropped that I’d had a suspicion about, the twist the story took was not at all what I’d seen coming. And once again, I’m left hanging, and waiting, mostly patiently, for the next book and the conclusion to this dark, edge of your seat trilogy.

Flame is the continuation of Patrick and Maddie’s story and it is full of many twists, turns, secrets and truths. If you haven’t read book 1, Spark, go back and read that because Flame picks up right where we left off and Patrick getting a surprise of his lifetime. A surprise that will forever change is life.

Out of all the Sparrows Patrick is quickly becoming my favorite. I am in love with his and Maddie’s story. It was addicting, heartbreaking, suspenseful, steamy and the chemistry between those two is absolutely beautiful.

What I loved most about this story was learning more about what happened 17 years ago, why Maddie left suddenly and left Patrick lost and heartbroken. Her past was sad, heartbreaking and super emotional. However, she is a fighter, she is a survivor and it helped shape who she is today.

I am in LOVE with this trilogy and I can’t wait to read what I am sure will the jaw dropping, stunning conclusion to Patrick and Maddie’s story.

Book 2 was incredible! So much more is revealed about what happened with Maddie in her past. This book has you rooting for the Sparrow team and for Patrick and Maddie. I cannot wait for book 3 as the cliffhanger at the end left me on the edge of my seat!

Woah, So I thought book one was amazing, well this just topped that, even though I didn't think it was possible! By the end of this book my mind was so twisted up, it's taken me a few days to sit down and really try and review this properly and I think I say still struggle, I honestly don't think my words will do it justice but I will try!

Spark was intense, to say the least, so when we jump right into Flame, Ms. Romig picks up right where she left off with Spark, she doesn't miss a beat and from page one I was completely spellbound but that was to be expected. I have fallen in love with Patrick and Madeline and their stories. they hold emotion, passion, heat, suspense, and mystery, we got deeper into both Madeline's story and Patricks. My heart hurt for Madeline and what's she's been through, but yet I could sense how strong-willed she was and how her life had made her that way.

This was full of suspense, passion and emotion, I was completely consumed by every word and read from page one to the very last page in just one sitting! The deeper I got into the plot the more addicted and obsessed I've become with these two and the world that the author has created. I am completely hooked and can't wait for book three!

6/5 Stars!

I couldn't stop reading, wow, simply wow. This story was amazing. From beginning to end it took me on a ride of a lifetime, Patrick's story was more than I ever envisioned. Wild ride would describe this story mildly it was a high I needed and now I am standing applauding Aleatha for another fantastic story, she has me reading anything she writes and this one is no exception. What a phenomenal story!
