With this book (book #5,) Zoey keeps with her new habit of mostly worrying about her actual problems than her perceived ones. But at the same time this book takes place over maybe three days.

As usual, relationships between Zoey and boys/men is overly dramatic and genuinely unnecessary, but I realize this is YA. I was super into that as a teenager; I get it. However, giving Zoey as many male counterparts as possible is getting annoying. Seriously, by the end of this book, she's got four (4) guys. The fact that she's wishy washy about one who was assaulting women via magic manipulation (vampire stuff) and another who is a known rapist is uh, well, that's certainly a choice the authors made.

Overall, the plot of this book wasn't bad. However, I have a feeling this arc is going to be dragged out when it shouldn't be. We'll see.

So this book is um...a thing. Where is it going from here? Hell if I know!

Seriously though, it tried to focus more on the plot than the stupid ass boy triangle - Square? Octagon? Jesus christ there are too many love interests - but the thing is is that the plot is so flimsy that it makes the pages in the Bible look thick! What makes this book even better is that half way through it, they still try and start the dumb as love interest shit again! Except now it makes less sense and is super fucking stupid and feels like it is really padding the length of this thing since now they are doing it in enemy territory for really not much of a good reason as to why.

and on top of all of this is the fact that they stay at the house of night for a long time in this book and for some reason they don't get imprisoned or anything and even though they are kinda trapped, they really aren't that much. Like, really just put them in a cell and try and get the main character to fall in love with your God ass! It's not that hard!!!

The side characters are also still not getting any development which started out funny but now is just beginning to get annoying. Overall, this book is terrible don't read it and I also had a great time with it lol :)
