I started this on a recommendation after I asked for a happy feel good winter book, it delivered everything I was hoping it would, the only reason it didn't get 5 stars was the Lila/Erik relationship in the last few chapters but other than that this is a fun read that you're done with before youre ready to say goodbye to the characters, there are some emotional moments as we see Lila and Beau reconnecting but it just mad them seem more real and didn't feel forced, and don't get me started on the kids, I want to take a train trip to the north pole now :-)

This was a very quick and cute read, but it was a waste of my time. It's labeled 'Young Adult' but it's geared more towards the younger crowd. It had it's funny moments but it just wasn't my thing. The plot and the characters were intriguing enough to keep me reading but there was nothing complex about the characters and it was too easily predictable. It was enjoyable enough but it was a fail as far as my attempt to reading pure Christmas books this month. It hardly mentioned Christmas and when it did it was fast and moved on to other things.

My first read of 2010. It was a good book to read right before bed. It was like most of Kate's other books. I really enjoy Kate Brian's books, so it was no surprise that I found this book a cute read.

Hace muchísimo tiempo que estaba detrás de este libro y me ha costado muchísimo encontrarlo. Puede que fueran precisamente las expectativas las culpables de la calificación.
El libro está entretenido. Un friends to enemies to lovers de manual, pero hay dos cosas que no me terminan de encajar:
1. La protagonista. Lila es insufrible hasta el penúltimo capítulo del libro.
2. El final es un poco abrupto. Aunque es evidente que algo dentro de los personajes ha cambiado después del viaje, no es hasta el último capítulo donde se muestra.
Además, me ha faltado un poco más de chicha en todos los personajes.
