book 3 left me running to book 4 annnd again, i was NOT disappointed!! this series had me deeply invested, not only for the relationship buildings but the plot was so good. thatcher & lyra is definitely my top favorite couple out of the hollow boys series. thatcher & lyra was made for each other. already loving lyra as a supporting character, her story as a main character was just beautiful to read. so much angst packed throughout the book but they all deserve that happily ever after.
Spoiler
although there was some things i found sort of lacking was, information - such as what the heck happened after lyraβs little stunt jumping into the waters in book 3??? how did her friends react to her & thatcher being together given they knew her obsession with him?? or thatcher coming clean to the boys? what part does easton play into the sex trafficking, or is he just a pawn delivering threat notes?Spoiler
nonetheless i devoured this entire series within a week & i cannot wait for silas & carolineβs story in october! definitely one of my favorite reads this year!Graphic: Blood, Death, Murder, Grief, Sexual content, Stalking, and Violence
Minor: Sexual assault

π§πΏπΌπ½π²π: dark, serial killer x stalker, opposites attract, murder mysteries, girls obsessed, grumpy x sunshine, touch her/him and die, forced proximityΒ
π§πΏπΆπ΄π΄π²πΏπ: stalking, emotional abuse, death of a parent, murder, death, schizophrenia, blood
This book picks up where the first part left off. From the first chapters, we feel the pain and grief of Lyra due to the death of Thatcher's grandmother. It was not only the death that affected her so much, but also the disappearance of Thatcher from her life. Thatcher appears at a time when Lyra needs help.
The fact that he is being followed makes him hide in her house. The moments between them spent in the house are so beautiful. She gets very close to him and we discover more things about Thatcher and his childhood.
He still longs for control, but the more time they spend together, Thatcher starts to change. Not by much, because he doesn't know what those feelings are, but that doesn't stop Lyra from showing that there is still humanity deep inside him.
In this part of their story, the two make a strong couple, who would do everything for the good of the other and eliminate everyone who crosses certain limits towards their partner.
Of all the moments in this book, I liked the part when Thatcher takes care of Lyra. Those of you who have read the book, I think you agree with me.
And the plot twists were exceptional. I guessed one but not the rest, and they left me shocked while I was reading.
Thank you Monty Jay for the opportunity to read this amazing book in exchange for an honest review.
