Once again, loving the plot. However, the ending leaves me confused for Silas’s book and somewhat not looking forward to it. While I wish to see Silas’s healing journey, a character driven book usually tends to make me snooze.

The copycat was predictable unfortunately, but the scene in the office was 10/10. I love a protective MMC. Thatcher is unhinged and perfect.

Again though, skip all intimacy scenes… not worth reading.

Lyra+Thatcher <3

I really enjoyed being able to see their bond grow even more in this book. We actually got to see how Thatcher attempts to navigate these feelings for Lyra and THAT  was a ride on its own.

Something that really hit me in the heart was Lyra's unwavering faith in Thatcher. I was amazed honestly. It didn't matter what he said, she just always believed in him and I think that was exactly what he needed in a partner.

Overall, I loved reading their story. They were absolutely captivating and I couldn't get enough of them. They took me into their dark little world with them and now I don't think I want the bug girl or American psycho to let me go.

This book picks up where the first part left off. From the first chapters, we feel the pain and grief of Lyra due to the death of Thatcher's grandmother. It was not only the death that affected her so much, but also the disappearance of Thatcher from her life. Thatcher appears at a time when Lyra needs help.

The fact that he is being followed makes him hide in her house. The moments between them spent in the house are so beautiful. She gets very close to him and we discover more things about Thatcher and his childhood.

He still longs for control, but the more time they spend together, Thatcher starts to change. Not by much, because he doesn't know what those feelings are, but that doesn't stop Lyra from showing that there is still humanity deep inside him.

In this part of their story, the two make a strong couple, who would do everything for the good of the other and eliminate everyone who crosses certain limits towards their partner.

Of all the moments in this book, I liked the part when Thatcher takes care of Lyra. Those of you who have read the book, I think you agree with me.

And the plot twists were exceptional. I guessed one but not the rest, and they left me shocked while I was reading.

Thank you Monty Jay for the opportunity to read this amazing book in exchange for an honest review.
