Unfortunately, this was towards the lower end of three stars. Maybe even a 2.5. There wasn’t anything in particular that was wrong with the story, it was just quite a boring and confusing read that at times was quite a pain to get through. The romance was cute though and I liked that we actually got to see them be in a relationship for a large portion of the book.

Caught covid and decided to make my way through this book. Yeah this is the one priest book I just can't get behind. Convoluted plot, slow pace, and lacking the characteristic wit and charm of priest's writing... This was very hard to get through honestly. I ended up DNFing at about 80% again.
