This would have made a really amazing novella. In spite of the excellent prose, there were too many passages for me in which nothing happened and I ended up skimming through until I got to the end and found out what happened.

No ragazzi, che delusione!
Si parte anche bene, con un ragazzino pieno di fantasia che trasforma il proprio mondo, l'isola di Ischia, in un universo fantastico e pieno di possibilità.
Tuttavia diventa presto chiaro che Arturo è un piccolo narcisista, geloso e rancoroso. Da un romanzo di formazione mi aspetto che il protagonista ne esca migliorato, qui invece è una parabola discendente.
La scrittura è ottima, il lessico spesso affascinante, ma il contenuto è davvero scarso.
