Un peu déçue de cette lecture. 

Pour un livre qui porte sur le point de vue d'un personnage qui ne peut utiliser sa vue, les descriptions via ses autres sens me semblaient peu approfondies. Je m'attendais à une expérience auditive et olfactive qui finalement s'est avérée peu poussée. 

J'ai également trouvé dommage qu'on passe autant de temps à élaborer sur la provenance de la créature, sur son effet réel ou non sur les autres êtres vivants pour finalement clore le récit sans aucune réponse.

This book is very well-written. I put off watching the movie until I could read the book. The internal monologue of Malorie was very annoying and almost made me DNF but the story itself prevailed and made me push through.

If you ever wonder what it’s like to have anxiety, read this book! Like they say, so much better than the movie. It immerses you into a world where it’s not safe to see outside and what that feels like and sounds like. Great choice for spooky season!
