a simple and easy to read collection of short stories that gently intersect, due to sharing an event/location.
it definitely reads as a book for teenagers.
it mildly explores the complexity of friendships/relationships including but not limited to: exploring attractions, coming out, miscommunication, trust, growing apart, love triangles, and more.
i could have moved this to my dnf shelf about 40% through. but i was encouraged to finish it so i tried to give it a chance.
honestly though, i could have skipped it.

Each short story’s rating:
- The long walk 3/5 ⭐️
- Mask off 3/5 ⭐️
- Made to fit 5/5 ⭐️
- All the great love stories...and dust 4/5 ⭐️
- No sleep in Brooklyn 2/5 ⭐️
- Seymour and Grace 5/5 ⭐️
This was a good anthology were all stories somehow bleed into each other and are connected. I did like the concept of it but I also found it a bit confusing. Mostly because of The long walk, the story was cut into five parts that was put between all stories. I found this a bit confusing as it was a lot of names and backstories to remember.
I really did love that the short stories brought up important topics as anxiety and grief and LGBTQ+ characters is always a huge plus!
My favorite was beyond doubt Seymour and Grace by Nicola Yoon, her writing is beyond magnificent and the story was so beautiful and cute.
Made to fit was another favorite! I’ve never read anything by Ashley Woodfolk but after this amazing short story I can’t wait to read more of her.
