A classic Aggie adventure, with some new twists that I enjoyed! I could not tell you a single thing about any of the side characters though!

Just okay for me. Felt like a lot more happened with the secondary characters than with Agatha, and the things that did happen with Agatha seemed to be a lot of reverting to old ways when she wasn't spinning in place.

Still not enjoying this narrator, though she didn't read this one at the same breakneck pace as the last.

I think this is where I take a break from the series. Probably will continue at some point, but if I don't, I think I'm fine leaving it here.

2 out of 5 stars.

It was a good cozy mystery but I didn’t like Agatha’s personality. She was always trying to get a guy and got jealous every time someone payed attention to a younger woman and not her.

I felt that she was very petty about other women getting the attention of guys.  She would be jealous and catty.

Otherwise, I enjoyed the murder mystery plot.

I really do like these. But I don't need Agatha swooning over some new guy. We could really let that plotline rest.

The usual fun Agatha Raisin fare, although it bugs me how jealous she is of young Toni. On the one hand she is very supportive, but on the other she always seems to be simmering about Toni's youthful glow - and not in a lighthearted, funny sort of way.
