I quite enjoyed the premise of this book. It was a bit difficult for me to get into the book, but I found myself entranced by our MC and her love interest by about a third of the way in. This was a refreshingly sweet read for me!

A charming tale, well-told and well-read. Dora and Elias were sketched beautifully, and I totally bought their growing attraction and love. Enjoyable

I literally started reading this and did not put it down until I finished. I loved the writing and the characters even if it was kind of cheesy. It was a perfect amount of cheesy. And the bits where Dora gets to interact with the faerie people are so funny, I loved it so much. Ugh!!!!!! Read this book!!!!!

This was SUCH a sweet little book.  It's a little slow to start but once it gets going it's hard to put down.  I felt really immersed in the world, and the characters all felt "real" to me.  Dora was such a unique protagonist - to read about someone who doesn't have typical emotions because of a curse is something I've never experienced before.
The side characters felt developed and varied, but not so many that it was hard to keep track of them.  They all added without being too much, if that makes sense.  Loved the setting of regency era with magic elements.  Elias was a wonderful love interest, he gave me Howl from Howl's Moving Castle vibes.
While reading I actually understood why some people like to annotate.  I had multiple quotes I bookmarked and may even go back and highlight, or at the very least tab.
My heart says give it 5 stars, so I will.
