LOVED maverick and opie! But I dont cry over books and this one struck hard! It broke you down and then put you back together in the best way possible. The love for this whole family was perfect and it really tied everything together! I cannot wait to read the rest of the series!

I skipped about a quarter to a third of the book in the middle. It got to the point where I thought “how is there another 300 pages? What is left to say/do before they get ish together?” I will say there was a plot twist that I wasn’t expecting that made things interesting, but overall felt ‘meh’ about it

Not often a book has me ugly crying and staying up way too late to finish. Kelsie Rae’s writing is my favorite and this story might just be my favorite
