3.5 - I enjoyed! really liked reading it from the victim’s POV too, which made this book stand out; not the most monumental twists but it captivated me and I would recommend nonetheless

"I'm tired of lying."

WOW. This book took me through so many plot twists - I was hooked from the beginning. This is my first mystery/thriller type book & I feel like the author captivated everything a reader could want within these pages.

These characters were so relatable. I thought that I was 10 steps ahead the entire time, only to find out that the author ran laps ahead of me. I was afraid that the book would end in a cliché, but believe me when I say that you'd never see it coming.

All in all, this author's Adult Mystery debut was spot on & I can't wait to read more from her!
