Buck wild with a lot of heart to it. Overall, the Fowl Twins trilogy is not as fantastic as the original Artemis Fowl series, but it's still good reading. I would recommend it to fans, but would not consider it essential.

This final book rounds off nicely, with some great callbacks. That ending!

Oh gosh, I ADORED the ending. It felt like the perfect bookend to the the whole Fowl saga.

Edit: The Harper Collins strike has ended; review is now added in
I'm going to be a little sad if this is the last one in the series, because I think this was the best one so far. The plot felt ridiculous and chaotic in the best way, and the tone of this book felt the closest to the first seven Artemis Fowl books. I loved the references (and even cameos) from the original series being present without ever feeling like they distracted from the plot at hand.

In solidarity with the HarperCollins Union, I will not be posting a rating or a review of The Fowl Twins Get What They Deserve here on Storygraph or anywhere else until HarperCollins proves that they care about their workers and listens to the demands of the Union, and until the strike is over. When the strike is over, I will then edit this review with my thoughts about the book.

In case this is the first time you are hearing about this strike, here is a link that will take you to all the necessary information you need to learn about the strike, why the strike is happening, and what steps you can take to help: https://linktr.ee/hcpunion

Absurdity, plot armour, and fan service. So basically not bad.

The Fowl Twins Get What They Deserve is a five star book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The story begins with Myles and Beckett attending a CORPSE event where Myles is the keynote speaker. The event of course is crashed by their nemesis Lord Teddy Bleedham-Drye. The twins thought for sure he was gone forever but they were wrong. Even more so when they really destroy him again but he still shows up after trying to confirm his death. Lord Teddy’s main objective is to rid the world of the horrible Fowl Twins forever. Will Lord Teddy ever claim victory over the twins? Will Myles ever admit he is wrong? Will Beckett be able to help Myles figure out the mysteries found on the Island of St. George? Will LEP Fowl Liaison officer, Specialist Lazuli Heitz ever manage to control the twins actions? All these questions are answered plus a beautiful bounty of twist and turns which make this installment of the Fowl Twins adventures worth the read.

Every book the author manages to up the ridiculous and I love it.
Also deep deep cut, but who knew the very first scene in the Artemis Fowl book would be retcon'd to massive importance in the last scene of this book?

My sons and I have read all of the Artemis Fowl and Fowl Twins books together. They are intelligent, funny, and so well written. We have incorporated several of the sayings into our daily life because there are always awesome moments in the books. I highly recommend for both kids and adults!
