I am going to start this review off with some of the things I really enjoyed about DESIRING A DEMON. I loved the conflict part of the storyline. It was believable and the danger felt real. I really liked getting to meet Gabriel. It was just a tiny glimpse, but I can't WAIT to read his story when it comes to be his turn. I enjoyed the update on Zerach and Isadora's relationship and their happy news. The secondary characters are all there and like book one, they are a great addition to the story.

Unfortunately I didn't feel like DESIRING A DEMON was as involved as book one was. I know we learned a little bit about both Raphael and Astaroth in TRUSTING AN ANGEL, but I still didn't feel like I really got to know them as well as I knew Zerach and Isadora by the end of the book, especially Asta. There is SO much to her character and I really wanted to learn more about her past. The relationship was of course hot between the couple during their sex scenes, but I didn't feel the heat outside the bedroom. I know they had a love connection, but I didn't feel it as strongly as I did with the other couple.

DESIRING A DEMON felt more like a filler book than a full on love story. I wasn't totally sold on it, but I'm still interested in the series and I will still read book three.
