Each book in the series seems to bring better and better things to Gwen’s family! It’s about time that Rose inherited her own realm and with a new baby to tend to as well. I love the depth that Miss Stanhope creates her characters with, especially in this one because I really felt Rose’s struggle, but I love how we got to see some of the older characters again too. With each installment in the series, you never know what Gwen’s family will face next!

Get ready for an emotional roller-coaster ride. This is the most heartbreaking story in the series so far. Rose and her family have suffered so much pain, but they'll sacrifice whatever it takes to keep their people alive. Bittersweet love, deception, despair, rejection. You'll find it all woven together as plots and plans are executed. A well thought out series, with strands coming together in each successive novel.
