I really enjoyed this book. Quick read, and I kept wanting to turn the page to find out what would happen next. There are a lot of terms to remember, but the author does a good job of using context clues (oh, yes!) to help you infer what everything means. By the time I discovered the glossary at the back, I just used it to double check that I had figured everything out. And I had.
Note to others: There's a glossary! Use it! (I would have if I had found it earlier.)

I really enjoyed this book and this world. It was hectic, crazy, frustrating but I loved Warden and Paige from the get go. At times it got a little repetitive but it was nothing that hindered my enjoyment of the book.

wasnt interesting, felt contrived. didnt like the angel vampire thing and the main character's thing with the blood consort wasnt interesting. i just dont like that type of dynamic.went into this totally blind bc of tiktok and paid the price
