Surprisingly, I didn't like this book. I found this book to be insufferable and dense with inactivity. It is extremely wordy and lacking in any interesting content. It is essentially two sisters going on and on about men for this or that reason. It never feels like it is really going anywhere. I wanted to love it and I tried my hardest. But I confess that I counted the pages until it was done. And when it finally ended it was completely unexpected that both girls ended up with a happily ever after.

really glad this wasn’t the first Austen novel I read because it was by far the weakest. Though, it was her first novel so that may be why.
I was getting mixed signals all throughout this book. Elinor felt like such a side character even though she was one of the mains. Things felt rushed and not drawn out well. I felt nothing for either characters or their love interests.
