This book was so hard to put down. Gripping, intriguing, and fast paced to keep you glued to it.
SpoilerI think it would have been better if it had ended about 50 pages earlier without what felt kind of like a forced (and incredibly foreshadowed) final girl piece
But overall a great and well written story that would make any hunter think twice.

SO good. old school dark and twisty horror. graham jones has a stream of consciousness, eldritch lick to his words that makes it really easy to submerge the self into his deluge of words.

I adored this book for a number of reasons. First, the author writes in a way that is both unique and allows me to feel like I’m being told the story like fables were told. It’s got this mythical air mixed with real and present world struggles for indigenous people that is blended together so perfectly I find it hard to find anything wrong with it at all. It was such a breath of fresh air in terms of storytelling style and content that I'm excited to read more of this authors work.

I heard only good things about this book so not loving it was disappointing. Some moments were really engaging, however halfway through the book took a very weird turn. A turn that no one could have ever guessed and then the book turns into an entirely different story.
