Boxer kind of made this book for me. I actually cried when he died. The animal characters in this book really draw you in - more so than the humans of 1984 - and it's a nice easy read, despite the heavy message.

Oh my gosh I really really enjoyed this book.

It makes me look at our world differently.

I'm so glad I read this. So glad.

I haven't read classics. This was the first one I finished. I have a feeling it will be my favourite classic for a long time.

This is an example of how those in power are all the same. Weather politically on the left or the right they will use until you are useless and then get rid of you.

the creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again: but already it was impossible to say which was which.

ok so i am sorry to everyone and george orwell. i am sure that the message behind this is phenomenal. i mean, i know that it is. but i just hate fables and reading about animals so that dimmed my enjoyment immensely.

i have a theory why i didn't like it: it took me a week to read 40 (out of the 100) pages (because school) and then read the remaining 60 in an hour, so i basically forgot everything that happened in the first half.

uhm, yeah, i don't really have a lot of thoughts?? it's a good book??? ok cool
