I disliked this book so much. It was boring and it became a task to just finish it. The diary parts were so bad and took me out of the more interesting part which was the 1990 Isobel. The police procedural aspect was tedious, again boring, and overall, every single character felt so thin, no personality, like nothing would make me care about any of these people. It’s just not a good book (to me) and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
