I really enjoyed this story! I am not religious, so I often catch myself deliberately avoiding fiction that talked a lot about religion, but I am glad I read this one. I saw reviews saying that they didn’t get what the story was about. For me it was about being a good friend and good friends need to be good listeners. It is also about the life of an immigrant, when sometimes you crave familiarity, that only your people can give you.

So conflicted about this. On the one hand, I didn't like it, but on the other I still wanna read more by her?

Quel plaisir de retrouver le style de l'autrice dans deux nouvelles qui se dévorent en quelques minutes !
