I'm the captain now.

Captain is a book in the Morgan Brothers series. I'd say if it was #1 or whatever BUT Audible told me one number and GR tells me a different one. So instead of trying to figure out what the heck is going on in the reading world - this is just a book. A book in series that you should read.

In it, you will meet Ryan and Tessa. Now these two were adorable and completely shippable. Ryan was a man whore that had his world turned upside down when Tessa walks into the bar. Then there's Tessa, aka T-Rod, and I was hooked. The whole this woman changed me whoring ways (or vise versa) is a cute idea.. and I'm sure it's something that actually happens for people in the real world. It made me smile and laugh a bit but I ate that shit up.

Even though this shoved insta-love into my life, I really enjoyed this couple. Sometimes insta crap works and a lot of the time it really doesn't. These two made it work and that is why I want to continue on with this series.

Overall, the smut is amazing and now I need another book by Lauren stat!

Another perfect book!

I seriously do NOT know how she does it! Every book feels fresh and new and sparkly. The characters just get more and more bloody endearing, and holy crap the hotness boils over!

Ryan and his crazy obsession, that he tracks down to the ends of the earth when she's right under his nose the whole time is so funny and beautiful!

Tessa is such a REAL woman, with control issues and trust issues, and loony hang-ups. But she's amazing, strong, smart and lovable.

You will LOVE reading the torture these two put each other through, both the sexy and the swoony kind, as well as the angst and angry kind.

Ok... I'm off to read Ball Peen Hammer because good Lord I'm excited to see who takes Peenie down!

For real, Tessa needs to chill tf out. Love me the Morgans but Tessa, babes. No. She is so judgemental. She has seen Josh for 6 years, seen him go through his “playboy” phase and seen his growth and then is like “literally no one else can do that so clearly this nice man I met cannot be telling the truth.” I mean, I understand not hearing him out at the bar, I understand not wanting to have anything to do with him when you first meet him. What I do not understand is that after talking with him and hanging out with him and his family that you’re still unwilling to concede that maybe you should hear him out? And that maybe he’s telling the truth?
Also Reed Rivers is kind of a creep and needs to have some cold water or something sprayed at him from a squirt bottle like a naughty cat.
Good points of this book: literally everything but Tessa.

YES! YES! YES! Captain is SO MUCH FUN!! I desperately want to read it again! Do you want to laugh out loud? Are you ready to swoon? Looking for hot and sexy Hawaiian good time? Let me point you directly to Lauren Rowe’s Captain. Holy smokes!! This book!! The setting, the characters, the nicknames and the banter, (OMG the banter!!! )… the permanent smile on my face after reading this book should be testament to the magic that is Captain.

The chemistry between Ryan Morgan and Tessa Rodriguez is explosive right of the bat. When they first meet they have a nice, flirty back and forth with a shared connection that have both feeling it could lead to something more than just one night. Little lies and misunderstandings arise, leading to their separation; leaving Tessa hating the Ryan and Ryan completely obsessed with finding her. Three months later, at her boss’, Josh, week long wedding celebration. Tessa is reunited with Ryan only to discover that he is Josh’s soon to be brother in law. Now that Ryan knows where to find the girl he’s been obsessed with for so long he is determined to show a reluctant Tessa just how perfect they are together. If you are not charmed by Ryan Ulysses Morgan, than I can’t help you! I absolutely LOVE Rum Cake! He so sweet, funny, and swoony. Not to mention sexy as sin. Combined with the entire Morgan and Faraday clan (I may be just as obsessed with the Morgans as Tessa is) you have no choice but to laugh and love.

I cannot express enough how much I enjoyed reading this book. I lOVE IT!! Before Captain, I had only read one book from this author - Ball Peen Hammer (YEE-BOY) - but the second I finished Captain I immediately downloaded the entire Club series onto my kindle. I cannot get enough of these characters!! I need more!!

It was cute and enjoyable! Not sure if I believed the soul connection thing but it was great to see her think it was just a fling. Lol

Oh, Lauren Rowe is definitely a new favorite author of mine. Ball Peen Hammer was amazing and now Captian? I loved it just as much! Oh, Ryan and Tessa are amazing! This was not the story I thought it would be going in. It was so much better!!

Ryan and Tessa meet one night at a bar. Neither of them expected the other, but there was an instant connection between the two of them. Ryan had just broken it off with someone and Tessa gave him a fake name/job as she was just out to have some fun. But then some things happen and Tessa is kind of heart-broken by Ryan. She really liked him, she thought they really had something, and then it gets all messed up.

Not that Tessa is totally innocent herself. Now I am trying not to give away too much here because the story was so freakin good. It was not the usual story I was expecting. Ryan...Oh I fell in love with Ryan. He was so sweet and I loved him hardcore. I...I felt bad for him at times because he is such a sweetheart! The things he does for Tessa? The ways he tries to make things right I loved. He was incredible.

And Tessa is just as great. The two of them together were so cute (and hot! OMG they are hot together) and I loved watching them work everything out. Tessa never thought she would see Ryan again, she didn't want to see him again, but when she is forced to play nice with him for a bit things get interesting. I loved this story. Go, read Captain. It is amazing.

Beautiful story of love

This was a beautiful and poignant story of love at its finest. It does not judge us for our faults, but accepts and loved us despite them. I enjoyed the characters and their passion, their failures and their triumphs and I look forward to reading the next Morgan brothers story.
