I honestly love this book. This series is so fun. It's the first "steampunk" series I've read and I can't wait to start more of Gail's books!

I read some other reviews that said Sophronia has no character and she's dull, that is honestly not true. I see myself in her somewhat, she guards her feelings and enjoys adventure. I love love love the relationship between her and Soap. He's so sweet.

I've recommended this series to most of my friends. Definitely worth the read. Next on my list is The Custard Protocol series!

In the final installment of Sophronia's story, she must save her school, and all of England from the Picklemans' evil plan.
I enjoyed this book as I have the entire series. I think this was a great ending to this series. Sophronia ended up with the right young man in my opinion. I like that she mostly stood on her own and finished her schooling in her own unique way.
I only wish we'd gotten more of her friends, Dimity and Agatha, in the story. I'm glad that some of the other characters like the headmistress did finally get fleshed out though.
Overall quite enjoyable and a great end to the series.
