Decent story. Both main characters were tortured by their past. Was a good in between listen for me.

I read this book with a friend, and neither of us could put it down! It just grabbed a hold of us and didn’t let go!! It made us happy, it made us mad, we fell in love with the characters and just couldn’t wait for them to get their happily ever after!
I love all the characters, and I really hope Jasper gets his own book in the series, because I would love to dive more into his character! He’s soo sweet!!

Much like the first book, Princess and the Player was "un-put-downable" for me... but book 1 still holds the title as my favorite. Truly enjoyed the erotic side of this romance read as Francesca and Tuck meet at a rather exclusive sex-club. With their identity hidden behind masks, they commit to a night of forgetting and have a one-night stand. However, we all know forgetting isn't quite what happened.

So, there is the pregnancy trope, which I don't mind at all. But it bugged me a bit that Francesca held onto the secret for a while, which felt like it really rushed the ending for me. I definitely wanted more time with them.

Truly loved getting to know Francesca and Tuck, and I can't wait to see what else is in store with the next book.

Tuck and Francesca meet at a high-scale sex club and, faces hidden behind masks, they have a no strings attached One Night Stand. Both are intent for it to be only one night, as Francesca has recently discovered her fiancé’s cheating ways and Tuck has no plans for a relationship. However it is hard for both of them to forget the other and they end up running into each other and figure out that they live in the same building.

I flew through the book, it was well written, had an interwoven story and an engaging romance.

The book started with establishing chapters from Tucks perspective and I really loved that we got his thoughts on their first meeting. And was a great first meeting that was, they hit it off so well - I loved their camaraderie and chemistry! Overall I enjoyed the romance.

One of my favorite parts of the story were the side characters. The whole cast of them were great and added a lot to the story as they were distinctive and not one of them felt like they could’ve written off without missing a part of the story.

It would’ve been interesting if Francesca had revealed her pregnancy a little earlier as the ending felt a little to fast and some plotlines didn’t get the proper amount of times to unfold.

I was provided an ARC by the publisher via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.
