Loved it

Smokey takes her for revenge. Only it ends up not being that. What if it ended up being more? Nice and fast paced

I don’t even know where to start on a review for this book. There is so much to it. Smokey is a complicated guy. He has a roughness because of the issues with his family. He wasn’t that was before but doesn’t feel he will ever be able to completely go back to that guy. His revenge involves Braylynn. He feels if he kidnaps her and does all these awful things to her it will be payback for his family. That doesn’t work out. Braylynn on the other hand has had awful things done to her either by her dad or with his blessing. How she goes from one awful situation to another and ends up the kind, rational one still has me shaking my head. I wish I had more background about Braylynn and maybe I could understand her but right now she is unbelievable. The story has a few twists that I didn’t expect and a few situations that added much to the story. This story is a great beginning to the series. I can’t wait to see what’s next.

This isn't a love story this is revenge. Forced, non-con, it's torture and not for the faint hearted. if this sort of book upsets you, please think again before you read it. But enjoyed it.
Smokey has been plotted to repay the bastards that kill his family, so he takes their prize, the prez daughter.
With other chapters clashing and braylynn caught in the middle, Emily's demons come out to play. An interesting twist on a kidnapping to hea story.
