Perhaps it is because I could not care less about Julius Caesar, but this epistolary novel was incredibly tedious.

Amusing book with believable interpretations of real people. Got a bit slow at times but was overall enjoyable.

20 pages in I'd all but forgotten that I was actually reading a novel and not the actual diaries of the characters involved! As compelling as it is innovative, The Ides of March is an astounding triumph on every level and will not soon be forgotten!
