As usual, Elizabeth Bedlam delivers a dark, haunting bit yet an excellent story. This one slowly creeps under your skin, itches, and itches, and you wonder if you’ll ever be able to scratch it.

Ashley lives with her mother Teresa and life is just not great. Her mom is plagued by illusions that the government did some testing on her, believes she is followed, and thinks only God and Jesus can help her. Of course these things rub off on Ashley. While the mother is mentally unstable, Ashley’s mental health is even worse. She sees shadows, a bleeding statue, hears voices, and talks to Lucifer. Both mother and daughter unravel because Teresa believes that the school Ashley attends, is actually run by a cult and her daughter is possessed by a demon. Things turn dark and ugly when Teresa turns to her church and ask the pastor for help.
