Synopsis

Blind since birth, Corrie Madison relies on her other sharpened senses in her job as a chiropractor. Never did she imagine she’d have to depend on them to identify a killer. But when a man enters her practice, murdering everyone in his path, Corrie is the only witness—putting her directly in the killer’s crosshairs.

Officer Quint Axton wasn’t looking for love, or even a relationship, until he meets Corrie. Beautiful and brave, resilient and intelligent, she’s everything Quint wants—if he can keep her alive long enough to explore their mutual attraction. The threats on Corrie’s life are escalating. Surely a blind person is helpless against a ruthless killer?

Hardly. Corrie is about to prove that disabled does not equal defenseless.

This is book 3 in a series, but each book is a standalone.*

I love Susan Stoker's stories! I've read each and every one so far. I don't even bother reading the synopsis! All her books are amazing, and I implore you to check them out!

Okay, onto the actual review.

Corrie: I adore all of the main female characters. They are all so strong and kickass! Corrie is no different. She's been through a lot in her life. Born blind, she's had to fight for even the simple things in life. She's had a rough go at it, but doesn't let her blindness hold her back. She's a Chiropractic, and if that doesn't say how determined she is, I don't know what will.

Put in people who want her dead and a super alpha male who wants to protect her, and you have Justice for Corrie!

Corrie is so awesome! Throughout the whole ordeal, she stays unwavering. Of course, just like any real human, she has moments of uncertainty and emotional turmoil. Yet, she always bounces back stronger. This woman goes through a lot, and my heart literally aches. I feel for all the characters and I can't wait to see more of them in the coming books.

Quint: There is one thing that all the men in each series have in common and that's being an alpha. These men are to die for. Quint is a Police Officer at San Antonio PD, and along with a well built body, his urge to protect his woman is just as hot.

Quaint and Corrie's story will have you cheering

Corrine is a chiropractor who just happens to be working when a loan sharks hired hand, decides to shoot half the staff. Corrine is able to hide but she knows they will find her. Did I mention she is one bad passed blind Chiropractor?

Quaint is a San Antonio police officer who helps Corrie deal with a ride server at a restaurant. He will protect her with his life, no matter what. When the thug realizes where Corrie is hiding, he breaks into Quint's house. What halo next is a race against time to find her before the Loan shark and his hired thug does. There is a surprise visit by one of Susan Stoker's characters in her previous SEAL of Protection series. Bravo on a job well done, this book is fantastic!

Justice for Corrie was a satisfying read. It gives us a women who is blind, but has witnessed a murder.

Color me intrigued just from the blurb and this idea of a blind character. I’ve showcased Ms. Stoker on my blog and each time I tell myself I’m going to try one of her books. For those that know me CR is not my genre of choice, but I do like to give them a try now and then.

Justice for Corrie was one I really wanted to try; because of our heroine Corrie who has been blind since birth. I wanted to see how the author portrayed her and her disability. It’s not easy to write about a character with a disability, but I have to say Ms. Stoker did a stunning job with this aspect of the story. This different angle gave me insight into how other people live. You get to see Corrie’s daily life, her insecurities, her frustrations, and what she has done to adapt and become a strong independent women.

Quinn was a likable character. He’s a police officer, he's alpha, strong, and protective. I enjoyed his relationship with Corrie. I liked how he interacted with her. He was genuinely interesting in her and sees her blindness as part of her rather then something negative.

I had a delightful time reading Justice for Corrie. The unique romance, suspense, action and emotions all added up to an enjoyable read.

Note: Can be read as a stand alone. Books in this series do not have to be read in order.

When police officer Quint Axton literally runs into chiropractor Corrie Madison, he has no idea the meeting will put him in the middle of a dangerous situation, since Corrie is the only witness to a workplace shooting. Corrie has no idea that she's bumped into her future love, and the one man who is willing to do anything to make her happy and to accommodate her blindness.

I can't judge the book based on how well it portrays people who are blind or visually impaired, but from an outside perspective, it seems to do it well. Corrie is fiercely independent, despite her "handicap," even to the point of
Spoilerpractically saving herself from her kidnappers.

Quint is an all around nice guy, and I'm glad he's getting his own book and finding his own true love. They're a great couple, and this is a great book.

I received this book for an honest review.
Even though I'm a follower of this author it's the first book that I've had the time to read. I need to go back and start this series from the beginning now. I absolutely loved it, for a minute there I thought she was an Aussie like me as the story read like a group of my friends talking. (didn't need to look up an American phrase once) With saying that the story read fast paced and flawlessly, the characters were engaging and real. Such an interesting concept having the female character blind and showing such strength of character and the alpha male so into her and strong yet sensitive to her needs. I LOVED that he learned Braille and entered her world in other ways too. This is a must read book, I laughed and cried toward the end. Kidnapping, murder, suspense, drama and love...what a ride.
