A great look at a problem that most SFF epics have. I would have loved a longer dive into the issue but this was a good primer.

Solid discussion of an important topic. I read the ebook version on my kindle, although I kind of wish I'd read it online because the text is filled with interesting links that the kindle "experimental browser" just isn't really up to handling. It's really more of an extended essay than a short book. I do wish the essay had gone more in depth to some of the topics and discussed more contemporary writing. In some ways it felt like an introduction to the topic. Maybe it needs a part 2!

Thoughtful and thought provoking essay, well worth a read. It made me want to dive back into post-colonial theory again—and gave me a list of new resources. Excellent!
