I never thought a robot would be this relatable but... here we are.
"I liked the imaginary people on the entertainment feed way more than I liked real ones, but you can’t have one without the other.”
I loved Murderbot. I loved this story and the reluctant relationships. The banter, internal dialogue, action, adventure, tech, and character arcs. Somehow Martha Wells stuffed it all into this tiny little novel and pulled it off. Well.
I'm excited to read the next.

Beginning to end, this book was a delight!
I was laughing throughout, but the story dealt with complex themes as well. I hadn't expected to contemplate benevolent enslavement, or the meaning of happiness, yet here we are. It is a testament to Wells's skill that such heavy topics could could be woven into such a short story without disrupting the fun.
Lovely, I will be continuing the series!
