The idea of this book is very interesting but I think it could've ended differently. Towards the end I found myself skipping a few pages because I had lost interest.

- cried a lot, dragged a little in some places, love the plot line and the plot twists were GOOD. and was able to feel the connection between and with the characters. Last like 5 chapters took me out though ðŸ˜. Very much a sad boy book. .2/5 spicy

This book will be loved by fans of Jo Jo Moyes. It has the too-good-to-be-true love story, lashings of gorgeous men, heart warming animal vignettes and oodles of tear jerking opportunities. Told in the 'she says, he says' split narrative you can relish how truly thoughtful and considerate the men are, and how the women are so honest and vulnerable. It was a bit like eating a whole Easter Egg, enjoyable at the start but I felt a little sick at the end, over indulged and in need of something less treacly.

i knew it was coming but i couldn’t stop crying it was so beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time
the writing is beautiful yet still very classic
it was a really good book but a devastating story

*SPOILER ALERT*
I enjoyed this book until the break up of Joel & Callie. I was all in - 5 stars. But once they break up, it's like you can see the end coming and the book could have ended in 25-50 pages at that point. Really disappointing as it started off so good.

Around page 300 I realised how much I don't really care and honestly just kept screaming "just get over it" at both characters.
