Such a fun book with three novellas. I was OBSESSED with the second one...with the teacher who has their students make murder dioramas in art class! Truly iconic and now I want to see one in real life.

*Sweetest in the Gale* by Olivia Dade was a book I really wanted to love! It had all the ingredients for a great read: part of a series I'm really enjoying, about two teachers hosting a poetry awareness event together, and featuring a fiercely independent heroine.
And it did have all of those things. I found it very cute and charming. However, for me, the pacing felt a bit slow, and I wished for a bit more passion and chemistry between the characters. That said, Candy and Griff are incredibly lovable and sweet, making the story enjoyable overall.
While it wasn’t my absolute favorite out of the three I’ve read so far, it still has many delightful moments that fans of the series will appreciate.

In this romance novel, my favorite part was the beautiful and nuanced depiction of two grieving people seeing and understanding each other. Candy and Griff are awesome and felt like real people. Highly recommend the titular novella!

I didn't enjoy the man's pov in the first story and didn't finish the book.
