Unsteady is gorgeous, a book filled with characters with such depth and such heart that I can’t help but feel warm and fuzzy as I read about them. Sadie and Rhys are two broken humans, who come together to find healing and love and trust. Family is a huge part of this tale, and they create it together beautifully.

There are lots of little plot points that I’m hoping will be explored further in later books, as I have a lot of unanswered questions about these characters, particularly Bennett, Coach Kelley, Ro and Toren.  Can’t wait to see how their stories (hopefully) progress in the future. I also would have liked some of Sadie’s storylines to be fleshed out more, particularly around her custody case. We got very little information about how it came about, how it ended, and what happened to her father so I’d be very intrigued to get more information about that.

Oof. My heart. Loved this. I just want to hug Sadie, but I’ll totes settle for the way that Rhys steps up and cares for her. And Oliver and Liam. Ugh, that boy *heart melts*. I really enjoyed the character growth in this one.
