After finishing the first volume of this collection, i decided not to bother with the rest. It's not a badly written history book, but I didn't find it interesting enough to continue with the series.

One mistake i noticed, is the confusion around the Asklepian (Rod of Asclepius - god of healing) and the Caduceus (belonging to Hermes - god of trade). Of course, they are similar, and many others made this confusion before, but i would not expect it in a medical history book. Especially if it is used at the start of every single chapter as part of the design. And since it appeared right from the first chapter, i read the whole book with mistrust (essence lies in the details - which might be the reason why i'm not impressed by this book ).
