the prose of this memoir is so unlike anything i’ve read before but i love how it’s like a messy stream of consciousness that bares it all. eileen myles, the woman you are

The writing style was unfamiliar to me and difficult at first. But this book is so raw and hurts. Her perspective and voice is so strong. The stream of consciousness highlights little details while ignoring massive traumatic abuses.

I love nothing more than hearing about Boston prior to the 00s.

It was interesting to read a book where it could be a fictional retelling of the authors life, but it could also be just another memoir. keeps you one your toes. questioning if these things happened in this way or that.

I love lesbians, what crazy stories. “Novel” confuses me here but what do I know! Really enjoyed reading these.
