Bit disappointing, one of the weaker Discworld novels. Some promising themes and decent moments in the first half but all fizzles out to a rather muddled end.

This is a rather amusing and riverting addition to the Discworld series with a main story that quickly gets lost in a much bigger drama and some entertaining girls night out moments involving a werewolf, vampire and stripper amongst others. I also found myself becoming rather attached to Vimes' Gooseberry and think this would make for a far better technology that what we have. As always Pratchett has superbly woven the modern world into the 'reality' of Discworld including war reenactments and ancient grudges not to mention scary prophecies and apocalyptic evil.

I would give this a higher star but I kept getting confused. Really funny though and I enjoyed meeting Sally the vampire in the Watch
