I literally couldn’t even finish this book. I usually really like Louise Bay, at least a 3.5-4.5 star level.

Truly is the WORST. I got to 70% in and she’s so wishy washy and never lets him even talk to her, she only wants his body. He says let’s date! She says “I need more!” What?! That IS more! I didn’t read the last 30% so I have no idea if they ever actually talk about their relationship or lack thereof, but I didn’t care anymore.

He’s a bit of a flaky friend, and they act like his $10M is **** you money (that…doesn’t go very far if you’re only in your 30s and buying huge apartments and having a personal driver), but her lack of self confidence and utter “my twin is so beautiful I’m nothing blah blah blah” drove me insane. She’d never bought her own jewelry? Seriously? Yeah this was a hard no for me.

Cute story but very predictable. They seem to spend too much time fighting what they are feeling.

Louise Bay knows how to write a hot romance and once again she's nailed it. International Player is a friends to lovers story between Noah and Truly. Noah's been away from London for a few years conquering the business world and finds himself back and reuniting with some old friends. Truly is a stats and numbers kinda girl that works with her twin sister, Abigail, helping raise money for charities. Abigail has a rapidly approaching due date and after a medical scare, needs Truly to take over the reins of the company. Truly being scared out of her mind and comfort zone receives comfort and encouragement from Noah while he's between his previous career and the start of something new.

Noah is just what the doctor ordered for Truly and helps her to find her way. And despite Truly doing her best to keep him at arms length, he has a funny way of making his way into them instead. Noah and Truly are fun and you want them to be together. While I was frustrated at times with Truly's actions and falling into her own insecurities and fears, it comes across as sincere.

I absolutely LOVED Truly and Noah’s story! Friends to lovers is one of my favorites! After Noah being gone for a couple year, Truly thought she’d finally gotten over her crush on Noah...and when they come face to face again...woah! I’ll keep this short and sweet...a swoony hero, an amazing gorgeous girl that has no idea of her appeal...this book is perfect!! Highly recommend!
