This was so addictive and intense! While I didn’t love the final reveals, the rest of the story was so amazing that I can’t possibly give this anything less than 5⭐️. Pip and Ravi are a duo I didn’t know I needed. I cannot wait to pick up the sequel.

This was a really interesting case of 'who done it' and it was skilfully executed. I was absolutely sucked into trying to figure out what was going on alongside Pip. The ending surprised me and was not what I expected. The characters added levity to a very dark and tense story. All in all, I really enjoyed reading this book.

Now THIS is what I call a murder mystery!!! Holly did such a great job with setting the scene and roping me along for the wild ride that was to come. I didn’t guess this at all — in fact I was so off! I love that I was interested the whole time. Though Pippa was a bit reckless at times, it reminded me that she was just a teen girl taking on a big task. Plus the project logs and little map sketches really added to the finer details. I’m so excited for book 2!

I love a good murder mystery with an MC who is totally not qualified to solve it! This book had a lot of twists and different theories. I also liked that the writing type differed with interviews, pieces of evidence, notes written about the case, etc. This was fun and I would definitely like to read more in the series.
