I really enjoyed this book but found that I was much more interested in the sub-plot rather than the main story. Finn was really annoying and found it hard to believe that this was the same man that Flora had been obsessing about for years. I guessed the ending about 3/4 of the way through but I thought that it was the right ending for this book.

A lazy Sunday read which was predictable and easy on the brain. Sometimes, when I am tired, I look for a book that allows me to switch off and escape without having to work too hard; this did the job. I gave it two stars because it isn't a genre I would normally recommend (chick lit). This may be harsh as it was neatly written and not too cloying. It was given to me as a 'feel good' book and that is a fair description. Unchallenging (I read it in an afternoon), but an enjoyable enough way to pass the time on a day of rest.
