Popsugar Reading Challenge (2020) prompt: A book on a subject you know nothing about.

Sidenote: I am quite intrigued to read the original literature story of Jane Eyre now. Perhaps it might be one to pick up this year.

Audio. Even better than the first Janie book! I loved the humor and the paranormal twist worked so well within the original Jane Eyre story. I think knowing the original Jane Eyre helps the reader enjoy the absurdity even more but if you haven't read it, this rendition will not harm your enjoyment of the classic later.
The narration was superbly acted and I hope Ms. Hardingham is used again for future books set in England.

A retelling of Jane Eyre where Charlotte Bronte is one of the main characters, Jane Eyre's best friend is the ghost of Helen Burns, and they all become ghost hunters with the Royal Society for the Relocation of Wayward Spirits???? YES, PLEASE.

This book was a ton of silly fun with references to Harry Potter, The Princess Bride, Wuthering Heights and more literary and pop culture staples.

I'd recommend it for any fan of Jane Eyre or the Brontes.

This was a really fun book! It was a historical fiction book based off of Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. Kind of. The two main characters are Jane Eyre and Charlotte Bronte. Jane Eyre has the ability to see ghosts, and Charlotte Bronte dreams about being a writer She thinks the perfect subject for a novel would be her friend Jane. And she does end up writing a novel about Jane... she just took a lot of liberties on what happened. Do you want to read a book pre-Victorian ghost busters? Then read this book. It is extremely silly and funny. But I would recommend it for when you are in the mood for a light read.
