The only reason this is a 4.75 star review is because, as much as I like Fiona Hardingham, I didn’t find myself laughing as hard at the jokes as I did with My Lady Jane when she read them. Excellent book, and I would re-listen to it, but still…it just wasn’t as funny. But the story itself is incredible. Very fun and lighthearted, although the ending was emotional. And there were so many references to The Princess Bride! That got me laughing. Loved it.

Not quite sure what to make of this one. At times amusing, at times annoying. Full of Bronte & Austen references mixed with pop culture tidbits. By the end of it, though, I felt like this could be characterized as YA written for an extremely well read 14-year old girl. Huh.

If Jane Eyre is your think you’ll probably like this.
It was okay. I didn’t like it nearly as much as my lady Jane though. I didn’t find it nearly as witty. Nor the characters nearly as charming.
It was interesting that they decided to have Charlotte Brontë as a character and it really let them make this story their own. I did like the slight nod to my lady Jane at the end.
